I am in the process of finishing my SQ5 project, and building the base is now part of the fun, and I am now beginning to think about putting together a bigger diorama, and it got me thinking about the kind of dioramas I would like to build.

I am picturing in my mind a series of dioramas around the concept of "Oh Sh*t" or "Sh*t happens" eg a Palestinian technical makes a wrong turn and ends up face to face with an advance element of Israeli paratroopers supported by a Merkava, Shmiras, etc, all congregated on a side road, weapons at the ready, and the diorama catches the precise moment when the technical screeches to a halt, front springs compressed, rear end riding up, driver standing on the brakes, and the growing realisation that something interesting is about to happen...

...or a nice leafy road somewhere in the Low Countries, leading up to a small little bridge over a stream, complete with a little boy fishing and flowers everywhere, and a Wehrmacht motorcycle with sidecar at the bridge, crew out with maps, and with a Famo and low loader coming up the road behind them hidden around a bend, fully loaded with a panzer, and a Steyr Kommandeurwagen as well, entitled "Gunther, I am not sure this is the right bridge..."

So, what dioramas do you have in your mind's eye that you would someday want to build?
